Miller Chevrolet Hopes to Help St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association Score Big on the Ice
Miller Chevrolet teams up with St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association to support youth hockey program
Rogers, Nov. 27, 2012 – In the spirit of teamwork taught by youth sports, Miller Chevrolet is teaming up with St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association to provide their players and coaches with hockey equipment kits filled with hockey pucks, cones, water bottles, t-shirts, coaches’ clipboards, a sponsorship check and an opportunity to help them raise funds.
St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association will have the opportunity to raise as much as $10,000 through a fundraising opportunity where a lucky recipient will win the Ultimate Pro Hockey Package, which includes four tickets to a Minnesota Wild game in March in addition to hotel accommodations and all-access passes.
Miller Chevrolet and other Minneapolis-St. Paul-area Chevrolet dealerships are donating these prizes to participating leagues in the area. One-hundred percent of the proceeds collected from the fundraiser go directly to the leagues. The funds may be used in any way the league chooses.
A one-time sponsorship check will be presented by Miller Chevrolet to St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association. The league also will have an opportunity to raise additional funds for their use as part of the Chevy Youth Hockey Fundraiser.
Some leagues plan to grant scholarships to families who cannot afford to enroll their children in the league, while others will use the funds to improve facilities and equipment.
“We are proud to be able to help the kids in our community by donating equipment and giving them the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for their league. We are excited to be part of the effort this year, and anticipate a fun-filled season with St Michael-Albertville Youth Hockey Association,” said Chris Dellwo, New Car Manager for Miller Chevrolet.

Chevrolet Youth Soccer is a grassroots initiative that establishes a positive relationship between local dealers and communities they serve. Miller Chevrolet is sponsoring Maplebrook Youth Soccer league as a part of Chevrolet's nation-wide commitment to support youth sports, one community at a time. Over the course of the season, Miller will donate equipment to the league which includes: soccer balls, ball bags, field cones, coaches' kits and scrimmage vests
Each sponsored league will take part in "The Chevrolet Youth Soccer Breakaway Giveaway" which is a fundraiser that can earn each league up to $10,000! "The Chevrolet Youth Soccer Breakaway Giveaway" features a grand prize of a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, in addition to other great prizes such as HD Televisions, courtesy of the local Chevrolet dealership.
Also thanks to Miller Chevrolet and other participating area Chevrolet dealers, league participants will have a chance to attend Chevrolet Youth Soccer Instructional Clinics in their area.
Chevrolet Youth Soccer is just one example of how committed our dealership is to supporting the youth and families in our community."
The 2010 program will provide assistance to an impressive 200 leagues in the Midwest region and Chevrolet dealers will contribute over $400,000 in monetary and equipment donations.

Our teams beat Wayzata in the championship 11-1 to win the tourney on 6/20...we went 5-0 on the weekend and outscored our opponents 58-10....(we did play Rogers and beat them 17-1).
